Job Summary
The Head of Brand Strategy is responsible for creating a strong BPI brand that serves as the foundation for differentiated brand imagery, ensuring consistency across online and offline touchpoints. The role leads institutional brand strategy, positioning, and messaging, while driving the use of consumer insights and analytics to deliver value for the bank. This position also mentors direct reports, manages budgets, and ensures alignment with BPI’s strategic imperatives.
Responsibilities
The Head of Brand Strategy is responsible for creating a strong BPI brand that serves as the foundation for differentiated brand imagery, ensuring consistency across online and offline touchpoints. The role leads institutional brand strategy, positioning, and messaging, while driving the use of consumer insights and analytics to deliver value for the bank. This position also mentors direct reports, manages budgets, and ensures alignment with BPI’s strategic imperatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the institutional brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and standards across planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting
- Review institutional and product campaigns to align with the Bank’s brand promise and proposition
- Drive the use of consumer research and customer analytics in building and implementing strategy
- Mentor direct reports and guide them in executing their duties while developing their professional skills
- Manage the unit’s expenses against the approved budget
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Strategy and Insights Head
- At least 10 years of experience in brand management or brand strategy
- Extensive knowledge in branding, marketing communication, and A&P/OPEX management
- Strong skills in leadership, coaching, mentorship, data analytics, creative execution, project management, and presentation to senior management
- Attributes include nurturing, integrity, professionalism, adaptability, agility, and critical thinking
- Experience in strategic planning, business strategy, branding, and marketing communications; background in financial services is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Management, Advertising, or related course (Master’s degree preferred)
