The Brand Merchandising & Activation Officer is responsible for strengthening and delivering a consistent, high-quality BPI brand experience across all branch touchpoints. The role ensures that merchandising assets, catalog offerings, and in-branch activations are effectively developed, managed, and executed in alignment with brand standards and business objectives.

He/She leads the end-to-end management of the BPI Catalogue, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, product development, pricing strategy, fulfillment oversight, and vendor performance management.

The role also oversees branch merchandising materials and light fixed assets, ensuring proper availability, maintenance, and compliance with design and operational standards.

Additionally, the officer manages out-of-home (OOH) assets, branch TV content, and supports the execution of branch-based activations, contributing to customer engagement and overall brand impact.

The position reports directly to the Branch Merchandising Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end BPI catalogue management, including product sourcing, pricing, and assortment planning to deliver competitive, on-brand offerings
  • Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate terms and monitor performance, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Oversee production and deployment of merchandising materials and branch assets, ensuring consistent brand execution and upkeep
  • Manage in-branch visuals, OOH placements, and TV content to ensure timely updates and alignment with campaigns and messaging
  • Coordinate and support branch activations, ensuring smooth execution and enhanced customer engagement
  • Drive budget efficiency, compliance, and process improvements through cost optimization, proper documentation, and standardized workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or any related course
  • 3 years work experience in Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Vendor Management
  • Background in retail banking or any industry dealing with known customers, including the management thereof
  • Ideally from industries such as financial products/services, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods
  • Knowledgeable in Merchandising, product development principles, vendor management and procurement processes
  • Familiarity with brand standards and visual merchandising, integrated marketing communications, and awareness of retail and customer experience trends
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively and problem-solve
  • Updated on Industry / Market trends and competition
