Bid Pricing Estimator (Facilities/Cleaning Services Business ) | Remote/AU
Staffstream

City: Taguig
Contract type: Full time
Remote
The snapshot
Staffstream is hiring a Bid Pricing Estimator for a growing Australian facilities services business. They manage large-scale cleaning, hygiene, and building maintenance contracts for commercial and industrial clients, and operate in a competitive, margin-sensitive tender market where a high volume of bids go out the door.
This role was created to take the pricing workload off the Bid Manager's plate so the business can submit more bids, faster, and with greater accuracy. You'd own the pricing function end to end: reading tender documents, building cost models, and making sure every submission is commercially sound. It sits right at the intersection of sales, finance, and operations. This role is open to candidates based in the Philippines.

What's in it for you
A stable, full-time role with a business that genuinely needs you and wants you to grow into it. You'd be trusted to own your area, not micromanaged, working with a small team that values someone who can take things off their plate and run with them.
On top of that, Staffstream looks after you properly:
You're employed compliantly under Philippine law: a proper local employment contract, your taxes handled correctly, and all your government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) plus 13th month pay. That means real security and peace of mind, not a loose freelance arrangement. Everything is above board and looked after for you.

What you will actually do
Tender pricing and estimating
- Own the pricing and estimating function for tender submissions, from initial scoping through to final pricing schedules.
- Review tender documents to identify key cost drivers, pricing assumptions, and margin considerations.
- Use internal pricing calculators and established methodologies to build accurate, competitive cost models.
- Prepare detailed pricing schedules that reflect service delivery requirements and contract conditions.
- Make sure every piece of pricing is commercially sound and aligned with the business's margin targets.
Bid coordination support
- Work closely with the Bid Manager to turn service delivery inputs into pricing assumptions.
- Take ownership of the pricing component of the bid process, freeing up the Bid Manager to focus on broader tender management.
- Track bid deadlines and make sure pricing submissions are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain version control and documentation of pricing schedules across active tenders.
- Provide basic tender administration support: adding standard company, insurance, and compliance details to tender documents, sourcing standard documents from the BD library (capability statements, compliance documents, templates), and handling formatting, file naming, and final preparation of tender files.
Commercial and financial analysis
- Assess contract margins and recommend pricing strategy for competitive bids.
- Spot inconsistencies or gaps in historical pricing and help improve the pricing approach over time.
- Provide supplementary commercial support to the sales team as needed.
What you need to bring
- Proven experience in a pricing, estimating, or commercial analyst role within a service-based industry, not one-off or ad hoc quoting.
- A solid understanding of contract pricing models: recurring, SLA-based, volume-driven pricing rather than single-project pricing.
- Real experience working with pricing calculators, cost models, or bid schedules.
- Strong commercial acumen: you can assess margins and price services competitively without guessing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for building and maintaining pricing models.
- Strong attention to detail, with a track record of staying accurate under deadline pressure.
- Comfortable supporting basic tender administration too: standard company information, compliance details, document sourcing, formatting, version control, and getting pricing schedules submission ready.
Nice to have
- Background in cleaning, facilities management, security, hygiene, waste management, or property services.
- Experience in logistics, freight, or supply chain pricing, where contract and volume-based pricing is the norm.
- A commercial or financial analyst background with direct involvement in bid or tender pricing.
- Procurement or buying experience with exposure to service contract pricing and cost-build models.
- Experience in a BPO or managed services business pricing multi-year, SLA-based service agreements.
The setup
- This role is open to Philippines-based candidates.
- Fully remote, working full Australian business hours with real-time availability to collaborate closely with the Bid Manager.
- Staffstream provides your work-from-home equipment.
