As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that meet unique business requirements. The role includes coding, testing, and refining various components within systems or applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring the delivery of efficient and scalable software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster continuous learning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and implement improvements to enhance team productivity.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Application Modernization.
• Strong understanding of legacy system transformation and integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with microservices design and implementation.
• Proficient in refactoring and optimizing existing codebases for improved performance.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Application Modernization.
• This position is based at our Manila office.
