What You'll Be Doing
As Finance Controller, you will play a key role in partnering with business leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure strong financial governance across the organization. You will provide meaningful insights and recommendations that help improve profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. You will oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring the business meets both local statutory requirements and global standards. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders, influence key business decisions, and act as a trusted finance partner to operational leadership.

What You'll Be Doing
As Finance Controller, you will play a key role in partnering with business leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure strong financial governance across the organization. You will provide meaningful insights and recommendations that help improve profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth. You will oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring the business meets both local statutory requirements and global standards. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders, influence key business decisions, and act as a trusted finance partner to operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with cross-functional leaders to support business planning, performance management, and strategic initiatives.
- Monitoring business results and delivering financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to improve performance.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Reviewing and evaluating capital expenditure (CAPEX) investments to ensure sound business decisions.
- Leading accounting activities, including financial reporting, treasury, payroll, and product costing.
- Strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, audit requirements, and SOX standards.
- Supporting inventory control processes and ensuring accurate financial recording of inventory transactions.
- Acting as the key contact for external auditors, regulators, and other finance-related stakeholders.
- Leading and developing a small finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional finance or accounting qualifications are an advantage.
- 5-10 years' experience in finance and accounting, including financial control, reporting, compliance, and business partnering
- Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards, local statutory requirements, internal controls, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and translate findings into business actions.
- Experience in product costing, budgeting, CAPEX evaluation, and financial performance management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions across multiple levels of the organization.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for driving business performance through finance
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while driving accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
