Our client is a Philippine-based power generation and energy solutions company founded by a group of industry specialists. They specialize in owning, operating, and developing small-to-medium power facilities, frequently partnering with major energy developers like vivant energy corp. To provide reliable power to on grid and off-grid areas. Also engaged in property development and management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

BROAD FUNCTIONS

· General Accounting

· Financial Reporting

· Account Payable and Receivable

· Bank Reconciliation and Cash Monitoring

· Documentation and Internal Control

· Support to Management

General Accounting Responsibilities

· Record and maintain all financial transactions of the company.

· Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and supporting schedules.

Financial Reporting

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Submit financial data and analysis to the Controller for review.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

· Process supplier invoices and payments.

· Issue billing and monitor collections.

Bank Reconciliation and Cash Monitoring

· Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

· Monitor company cash flow and balances.

Documentation and Internal Controls

· Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.

· Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Support to Management

· Assist the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

· Provide financial information required for business decisions.

Do other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· CPA license is mandatory

· At least 5 years of total accounting experience with 2 years as an Accounting Supervisor

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Advantageous but not required:

· Experience in the energy, utilities, oil, or gas industry

· Odoo

Job type: Permanent

Emp type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Philippine Time
