Primary Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the Accounting operations.

Major Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of Accounting Department.
• Timely prepares and reviews overall Financial Statement and ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end closing reports.
• Checking and reconciliation of AR, AP &Inventory (units & Parts) Reports.
• Checking of all posted expenses per Account & per Department
• Posting of Monthly cost of sale for units.
• Posting and updates of Monthly Depreciation for Fixed assets.
• Posting of adjusting entries as may be deemed necessary.
• Monitors and timely approves daily cash disbursements.
• Thoroughly reviews and approves Petty Cash Replenishment
• Reconciles Accounts as may be deemed necessary.
• Makes & implements recommendations to improve processes and procedure.
• Manages, directs and reviews the work of the accounting staff and supervisor.
• Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Ensures accurate and timely monthly and year-endclose. Ensures timely reporting of all monthly financial reports.
• Maintains a fixed asset inventory system by supervising the recording of all items in the inventory, maintaining pertinent records and ensuring adequate treatment of fixed asset acquisitions and retirements.
• Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
• Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls. Enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures. Protects the organization's value by keeping information
• confidential.
• Attends to other instruction of the VP Finance as may be required & necessary.
• Ensures ISO compliance of the accounting department.
• Performs other tasks assigned from time to time by the Immediate Head.
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this position.

5-10 years' working in Accounting as a Manager, experience in Automotive industry is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Knowledge of Accounting Systems

Working pattern and location:

Work Location: On-site

Working Hours: 45 hours, 5 days per week (7:30AM to 5:30 PM)

Workdays: Monday - Friday
