Job Description




  • Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment
  • Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
  • Ensure coverage and performance
  • Foster morale and teamwork
  • Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
  • Ensure coverage and performance and work with client to execute upon a defined scope of work
  • Foster positive morale and teamwork
  • Follow-up on purchase orders with established vendors by mail, telephone and personal contacts
  • Track and report ordering schedules/timelines and estimated ship dates
  • Obtain COAs for materials, when required
  • Works with Finance and Suppliers to resolve invoice issues
  • Monitors expiration report for raw materials and critical processing aids
  • Facilitate clear and timely written or verbal communication, escalating critical issues and providing solutions to management.


Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree  or Associates degree with 3 years related experience
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and teambuilding skills
  • Supply chain experience working with vendors, contract labs, other internal and external partners
  • Ability to prioritize, be flexible and respond to unexpected situations and/or demands
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Background knowledge and understanding of cGMP activities
  • Ability to utilize computerized systems (SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid process improvement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to successfully complete training in a quality environment and follow SOPs and work instructions
  • Must have a valid driver's license 
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Sanford, NC are encouraged to apply.
