So, whilst we can teach you our specific market, you’ll need to be a digital retail channel marketing expert if you’re to develop and drive the flawless execution of inspired digital channel marketing and merchandising strategies on a regional level

Maximizing retail impact and revenue, you’ll work across country and global retail teams and business groups to create, communicate, and implement winning digital and Omni-channel strategies with our retail partners


You will be helping our partners to make it easy and fun for customers to find, learn about, and buy Microsoft products online and in store using digital technologies

  • Lead Digital transformation and strategic ecommerce and media planning in cooperation with third-party retail partners
  • Partner assessments/capability scoring – growth plans to address opportunities/gaps and help inform and influence media buy plans
  • Build digital acumen for the consumer organization and our retailers in your country – training/consulting including staying up to date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, programmatic media buying, and affiliate program potential.
  • Assess ecommerce capabilities, build out strategies, manage plans and capabilities across the third-party retail partner networks
  • Build and manage account profiles to keep track of the retailer’s digital capability and digital strategy
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing and Global Media teams to define and improve visibility for priority product categories and brand content using a blend of paid and organic strategies keeping consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs
  • Manage all external agency and publisher relationships to progress overall search capabilities and drive thought leadership across the organization; includes developing digital briefs and briefing/onboarding digital agencies
  • Create reporting framework that effectively captures paid and organic search program performance and produces actionable run-of-business optimizations for the channel as a whole
  • Provide analytical support for forecasting of daily/weekly/monthly sales trends and guidance on risks to plans, as well as provide insights on trends
  • Clearly and concisely communicate program performance and progress against goals in a cross-functional setting
  • Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition; includes building business plans for new ideas
  • Build strong digital marketing and digital transformation retail strategies, plans, and capabilities in partnership with other key stakeholders


  • 5+ years of experience with online/online marketing experience – including strong digital and retail ecommerce understanding, asset creation, vendor management, analytics, and digital technology curiosity
  • 5+ years retail marketing and execution experience
  • 3+ years of project/program management experience
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with multi-functional internal teams and external agencies
  • Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Have excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization from external vendors to senior leadership
  • Ability to transform detailed analysis into straightforward summaries for cross-functional partners
  • Financial and analytical experience
