Who You Are
As a full-time Faculty/Program Director of the Medical Assistant program you provide the overall leadership for Front Range Community College’s (FRCC) Medical Assistant (MA) program. You oversee the MA program at the Westminster Campus and work with other MA Program Directors college-wide. The Program Director conducts Advisory Board meetings twice a year and participates in the State Program 5-year Plans for Career and Technical Education. You assist with program evaluations and represent FRCC at local, state and national meetings.
You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills.
You teach MA courses two nights a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 – 9:30 p.m.) and you act as a mentor for the part-time instructors. You serve as representative of the department by participating in committees, task forces, and events at the campus, college, and/or state levels. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.
Please note: this is an on-campus position. You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment.
SALARY: $52,676 - $59,962 annually. Please see our 2020-2021 Salary Matrix for more specific information.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- A related associates degree in a health-related field from a regionally accredited college/university or relevant current industry license or certification and 4,000 hours of work-related experience or teaching experience in the related field within the last 5 years
