JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Marketing Department in the Smeal College of Business is seeking applications for a Part-Time Research Associate role to assist a faculty member in conducting their research. The candidate will be responsible for pulling transcripts from online lectures and discussions, such as on youtube. Then reviewing the transcripts and comparing them with the actual discussions to ensure accuracy. In addition, summaries of the participants (e.g. pulled from the web) and relevant graphics from these discussions are to be included with the transcripts

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
