Who We’re Looking For: A talented cross functional Copywriter & UX Designer to join our team in creating next-generation digital experiences for Capitalone. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to execute innovative experiences that aim toward the futuristic vision of Capital One’s digital servicing experience. Creating solutions that scale, you’ll also have a hand in setting the content guidelines to align with the overarching Capital One brand.

Partner with Product, and Engineering partners to co-create content for experience(s) we're trying to launch or evolve.
Write and optimize copy in support of digital experience and experimentation initiatives
Connect customer journey needs with business goals, design direction, and brand guidelines to design content effectively for end-to-end customer experiences
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization who come at experience design from different angles—like PR, brand, legal, risk, and more—to facilitate progress and influence direction
Partner with UX Researchers and Information Architects to observe and conduct user testing and research to inform our experiences.
Customer Advocate – You'll dig into who our customers are and what language they use, then ensure our products speak their language
Writer – Obsessed with being grammatically correct, you love writing as much at strategizing.
Editor -– You'll cut or change what doesn’t help audiences find, understand, and use our products
UX Designer – You'll not only design, but establish a cohesive conversation with users, both within and across our many digital experiences
Researcher – You’ll test and validate your content, iterate until it’s clear and then see to its roll out to millions of customers
Data Analytics – You'll study analytics and use data to inform content decisions
At least 2 years of experience in marketing design
4-year degree in communications, creative writing, journalism, graphic design, web design or similar discipline.
2-4 years writing and design experience
Working knowledge of e-mail, web, mobile and print design best practices
Industry Knowledge: Email, web and direct mail experience required within any industry. Banking experience is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Google suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch App and Figma.
