Medical Laboratory Tech II (Two Positions) - #197062

Duties include performance of chemical, hematological and serological testing, performance of microscopic examination of specimens and bacterial cultures, performance of urinalysis and pregnancy testing, collection of blood specimens for testing and shipment to reference laboratories, performance of quality control tests, equipment maintenance and quality assessment studies and performance of other duties as prescribed by the Laboratory Supervisor.


Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Qualifications

Associate's degree in medical technology from an appropriately accredited institution or completion of a certified laboratory assistant course in medical technology or a comparable course, and one year of medical laboratory experience; or high school or General Educational Development diploma and three years of medical laboratory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
