Job Description



We are looking to hire a Customer Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working directly with Chicago Connect customers through many channels as a valued resource and trusted advisor, helping their business grow. You will strive to deliver a human and helpful Support experience through creative problem-solving, a consultative approach, and a deep and thorough knowledge of how Chicago Connect works.


Salary range: $44000 - $52000 per year.


Responsibilities



  • Onboard new client accounts, which includes the collection of required documentation and client information.

  • Conduct outreach to maintain strong relationships with the client base and identify services and solutions, such as digital, and online access, and that support clients’ needs.

  • Greet and service clients in a professional and friendly manner while developing positive client relationships.

  • Exercise discretion by pricing and quoting client estimates to win new projects while maintaining standard profit margins.

  • Process new accounts by obtaining all necessary approvals and ensuring all client documentation is returned, completed, and approved.

  • Collaborate with the sales, design, procurement, and construction teams to improve workflows.



Qualifications




  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in on boarding, account management or project management

  • Experience with Google Drive required & advanced knowledge of Google sheets preferred

  • Technical aptitude and willingness to continue to self-train and enhance knowledge of new technologies and service

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Desire to provide outstanding customer service

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines

  • Ability to understand critical drivers of the business; identify and report to management accordingly

  • Willingness to accept constructive criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle considerable variety in the workplace
