Position Title: Patient Transporter
Essential Functions: Under the direction of the Director of Cardiac Services, Supervisor of Cardio Diagnostics, the transporter is responsible for providing safe, timely transportation of patients throughout the facility. Providing safety, basic physical care, and comfort measures for patients; as well as maintaining a clean, organized environment. Helps coordinate the flow of patients between nursing, medical and ancillary staff.
- High School Diploma or GED
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
- Proper body mechanics
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
