JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Accuracy-displays a high degree of accuracy whenever taking orders, serving orders for food and beverages, presenting bills and handling queries
2. Speed and dexterity-serves covers speedily and accurately. Displays care and dexterity in handling food and beverages. Serves without spilling. Handles with care all equipment belonging to the Club and reports all breakages to immediate supervisor
3. Physical Appearance-clean, well groomed, aware of body odor and cleanliness. Uniforms must be clean and well pressed. Shoes regularly polished. Use of perfumes must be limited. Limited jewelry worn and hair neatly combed (waiters) or tied back (waitresses)
4. Working environment-ensures through discipline and goodwill, a clean, healthy and safe working environment. Must be considerate to fellow workers and maintain healthy, cordial relations while on duty
5. Assists Members and guest in seating themselves/leaving dining room
6. Presents menu to Members and guests
7. Provides chairs for children whenever necessary and provides service to Members/guest from the buffet
8. Relays beverage orders to bar and food orders to the kitchen
9. Ensures that unused garnishes, supplies, equipment are returned to storage or kitchen
10. Assists in table set ups/section set ups/banquet set ups/displays tables and service stations
11. Ensures cleanliness of chairs/tables/table wares/service stations/trolleys/banquet equipment
12. Clears used equipment/tables/soiled dishes from the dining room or function area
13. Ensures accident prevention procedures are being followed and adhered to
14. Ensures good Member relation in dealing with problems and unusual situations
15. Performs related task that may be assigned by the Superiors.
