We are now seeking applicants to join our Customer Experience team. This opportunity has become available as we grow our team to support continued business growth & client expansion across the APAC region.

About the role:
The primary responsibility for the Shipping Executive is to efficiently and effectively administer all shipping functions in relation to the imports and export documentation of personal and household effects and ensure the accurate and efficient control of all the administrative requirements of the Customs office.

Some main day-to-day duties include but aren’t limited to;
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for customs clearance of containers as well as clearance through the Shipping Companies to enable transport of containers to the Bond
  • Prepare import documentation in a timely manner so that containers and shipments do not incur demurrage or detention charges
  • Lodge client customs documents to the Customs Department
  • Arrange for the appropriate inspection as required by Customs or Quarantine department
  • Upon notification of clearance, liaise with the Customer Service Manager for the delivery of consignments to clients as required
  • Handle other import inquiries as required
Our Preferred applicant will possess the following skillset to be successful in the position;
1. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in the end-to-end logistics process
2. Experience in shipping and freight movement across APAC markets is an advantage
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Proficient in Excel and other MS Office programs
5. With strong business-to-supplier relationship management skills and the ability to negotiate freight rates.
6. Ability to strategize on the current market situation and source for alternative transport options.
