As Senior Associate for Financial Services Product Team, you play a crucial role in our organization’s commitment to offer world-class products that are laser focused on our customer’s needs, goals and wants. You are not only responsible for driving product initiatives from inception to execution and all succeeding iterations, but you are also the evangelist of our customers with our internal and external stakeholders ensuring that everyone involved in the fulfillment and management of our products prioritizes our customers first and consequently, move the business forward. As such, it is critical that you build relationships with cross-functional teams, understand their responsibilities, key metrics, and empower them to deliver innovative products to our customers. You are also expected to support strategic changes and recommendations for our organization to achieve our goals and objectives.


NATURE OF WORK

  • Be the subject matter expert & product evangelist for Maya’s financial services products within and outside of the organization.
  • Lead and define the design of new capabilities and platforms that uniquely serve the financial needs of our merchants & consumers.
  • Collaborate closely with business, portfolio, operations, finance, UX designers, peer product managers, legal and compliance, and other cross-functional teams as well as industry partners to ensure that the product solution is designed to meet the business and consumer needs as well as reduce the associated risks.
  • Ensure overall alignment of short-term priorities and actions with long term capability roadmaps
  • Managing product roadmaps, prioritization, and constraints to ensure consistent execution of the product lifecycle process from concept to launch
  • Keep abreast of the Financial Services industry developments. Assess the threat & opportunities to our business and create a plan of action to maintain a competitive edge for our consumer & business products.
  • Define & agree on product success criteria and KPIs with stakeholders
  • Provide senior management with regular updates and manage communications of product development across the organization.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of Product Management experience in digital financial start-ups, financial services companies or leading tech companies in a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking and financial services industry and new financial technologies.
  • Have hands-on experience in scaling a fintech product and clear articulation on how that can be achieved.
  • Able to discern what is a world class product and delivers against that ambition.
  • Ability to deliver products that both delight the customer and bring in business value
