Job Info
Job Summary:
- Wirebond Senior Engineer to support new product/process development and qualification according to defined timing.
- Define the optimum WB process for new product and/or projects supported by NPI team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Perform WB process characterization (DOE), validation, optimization and provide recommendation based on the results.
- Closely work with sustaining PE and CE as necessary to standardize WB process, define and/or implement WB process/cost improvements.
- Provide inputs to quality issues related to WB process to cross functional team.
- Support EBR lots at WB process.
- Coach new WB engineers as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experienced WB engineer both ultrasonic and thermosonic wirebonding.
- Understanding of the different capabilities of WB machine brands: KnS, PowerFusion and other WB machine brands.
- Well-versed in conducting WB process characterization, validation and optimization using the available data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, etc) and provide
- Has good presentation skills.
- Collaborative and team player.
