Quality Assurance Supervisor

At Sunpride Foods, Inc., we are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in our Mandaue City, Cebu location. As a key member of our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in quality assurance and control to contribute to the success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality assurance and control programs to maintain the highest standards of product quality and compliance
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to identify and address any quality issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related concerns, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and internal quality policies
• Train and mentor production staff on quality principles, best practices, and problem-solving techniques
• Collect, analyze, and report on quality data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to management
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance to continuously enhance our processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Food Technology; licensed Chemist, Licensed Food Technologist
• Knowledge in Food Science and Technology, including Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology and other relevant analytical techniques.
• Preferably has experience in implementing GMP, HACCP and Food Safety program in a food plant environment.
• Adept with Lab equipment and testing within the manufacturing environment
• Preferably with experience in Canning and Meat Processing operations.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the food manufacturing quality assurance function to include quality supervision experience and/or training
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervisory
• Food Safety, GMP and HACCP Training Chemistry
