Job Description
Product Assistant provides support to the Product Supervisor and Product Development Manager in managing the existing products and expanding the portfolio. Responsibilities include conducting market research and analyzing trends, gathering feedback, identifying product opportunities and/or enhancements, facilitating training sessions and organizing product launches.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:
- Conducts desktop and field research to evaluate market and competitive landscape.
- Initiates and monitors feeding trials to generate complete and accurate data.
- Oversees product registration, packaging development and marketing collateral creations to ensure completion within timeline.
- Coordinates with the Sales, Brand & Communications and Marketing teams to conceptualize communication materials and organize product launches and related events.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT:
- Presents product portfolio to stakeholders to introduce product or refresh knowledge.
- Analyzes feeds sales volume and studies factors affecting the trend to propose appropriate action plans.
- Documents relevant information, data, figures and updates relevant to the industry to update overall strategies.
- Coordinates with the NITRQ team to address product-related concerns.
- Coordinates with the technical working group to execute assigned projects and programs.
OTHER TASKS:
- Participates in all company initiatives and programs as well as provide support whenever necessary.
- Ensures compliance to food safety, good housekeeping and quality management system based on standards of 5S, GMP, HACCP and ISO.
- Performs other work-related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Economics or other related courses.
Experience:
- One year work experience in areas of product development, project management or market research.
Licenses:
- None required.
