PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTOR (PDI) - BACOLOD BRANCH

The PDI verifies receipt of new vehicles delivered to the dealership and performs routine inspections as designated by the Manufacturer.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirms the released units from requesting client.
• Receives the actual units to be pulled out from the client.
• Pull out and deliver CBUs by self-drive
• Makes buy off list to be coordinated with the team leaders.
• Collate and give the authority to operate to the car jockey for actual vehicle pull out.
• Check the sales invoices for documentation and signatures.
• Arrange the released units at the designated inspection bays.
• Check the sales invoice for signature from the accounting department.
• Check vehicles released for damage.
• Report any damages to Team Leader, PDI team (Client).
• Check interior components of the vehicle;
• Load necessary tools for specific vehicle model.
• Make and secure gate pass.
• Check all factory loaded parts before loading the vehicle at the carrier
• Assist chief operators for the preparation of units.
• Check the unit for any transit related damages

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Must be keen to details
• Preferably with background in automotive
• Must have a valid Professional driver’s license (Res 1,2,3)
• Ability to take on additional duties as needed
• Must be willing to work on field, on extended hours and shifting schedules
• Must be willing to work in Bacolod City
