Internal Auditor - #88414

Performs operational and technical tasks under the set directions, policies, guidelines and procedures; Provides technical advice by interpreting and applying functional philosophies, principles, and policies in implementing parts of or major Corporate Audit Processes pertaining to Assurance Services on Governance, Risk Management, & Internal Control and Consulting & other Specialized Audit Services.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate the nature, purpose and types of controls, company operating/process policies, guidelines, procedures, regulations and laws; and management/project objectives/goals under examination.
• Participate in understanding the organization’s/business processes/operations, goals and objectives through walkthroughs.
• Determine the adequacy of the procedures and practices being followed with respect to compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Review and apply available conceptual frameworks for describing/profiling organizational control philosophies, financial reporting, sets goals and objectives and emerging business risks.
• Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations using independent judgement concerning areas being reviewed.

Job Specifications:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Engineering with Audit experience
