As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for the efficient management of project documentation, supporting the organization, storage, and retrieval of essential project information. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other team members to maintain an organized and streamlined document control system, which is essential for the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create, review, and manage project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports.
• Update and maintain electronic and hard-copy project files and records. Ensure that all documents are correctly labeled, updated, and stored securely.
• Accurately enter, organize, and maintain project information in the document control system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Implement version control processes to track document revisions, ensuring that all stakeholders work with the most current documents.
• Facilitate the distribution of documents to project team members and external stakeholders, maintaining strict control over access permissions.
• Assist in the timely retrieval of documents as requested by project team members or clients, maintaining a systematic filing system for easy access.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all project documents, identifying and rectifying any errors or discrepancies.
• Ensure that all project documents are in compliance with regulatory standards, contractual agreements, and company policies.
• Properly archive project documents at the end of projects and maintain records for future reference and auditing purposes.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other team members to address document-related issues and facilitate effective communication within the project team.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect confidential and sensitive project information.

Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• Proven experience in document control within the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in document management software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with construction document standards and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
