About the role

PJA Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Architect to join our dynamic team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a Construction Management (Project Architect For Construction), you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects, coordinating with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Interpret and implement architectural plans, specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and communicate updates to the project team
• Collaborate with the design team to provide input and ensure the constructability of the project
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Construction Project Architect or in a similar role
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and project management principles
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional project teams
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
