Civil Engineer

Qualifications:
- A licensed Civil Engineer
- With 2yrs experience in construction company
- With experience in Auto CAD
- With good technical knowledge in aluminum and glass systems
- Can work with design team and knows how to cost and estimate
- Can develop master plan, BOMBOQ and can lead the construction team during scheduling and execution

Job Description:

• Conduct daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks.
• Maintain compliance with the safety-assurance plan so that work is accomplished in an environmentally sound to finish the manner using safe work practices;
• Conduct safety observations and conversations (SOCs) to help achieve a zero-incident.

• Anticipate and resolve problems encountered in the field to eliminate costly rework or retesting;
• Monitor progress to ensure scheduling milestones are understood and are being met
• Coordinate solutions between the construction contractor and the project lead to address field discrepancies in design packages and material delays;
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials to ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• Plan the work and efficiently organise the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Establish, report and follow up all on non-conformance activities
• Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective equipment is worn as and where required by the staff under their responsibility
• To assist Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned project
• Assist in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan;
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors;
• Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed;
• Coordinate the handing over of completed works to client and completion of the necessary rectification works;
• Inspect facilities and analyze operational data
• Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
• Determine and present estimates of operational costs
