Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Targets: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual net revenue and gross margin targets for the business unit.
- Business Growth: Identify new business opportunities, prepare persuasive proposals, and negotiate impactful contracts to secure partnerships.
- Market Expansion: Increase market and brand visibility by expanding the client base from small businesses to large corporations.
- Client Engagement: Arrange meetings, deliver compelling sales presentations, and provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- CRM Mastery: Manage sales activities and client interactions efficiently using Salesforce to ensure seamless communication and data integrity.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and Regional Business Development Manager to align on key initiatives and strategies.
- Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of market trends, track competitor activities, and position BVAQ as the go-to partner for food safety and quality services.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, responding to inquiries promptly and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Execution Excellence: Implement annual sales plans in line with the company’s strategic goals and budget.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields (e.g., microbiology, nutrition, applied chemistry).
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in sales or related fields, with an edge if you have experience in food testing laboratories or the food safety/production industry.
- Industry Insight: Ability to leverage your knowledge of food testing and safety to drive sales and create value for clients.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to connect with stakeholders at all levels.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms to manage customer interactions effectively.
