Bookkeeper

About the role

Join the dynamic team at Global Moving Resources Corporation as a full-time Bookkeeper based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines. In this important role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably within the Accounting and Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications such as Quickbooks or Microsoft excel
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
