Job Description

• Build a good relationship with clients, and open up Varsity to more projects under them;
• Build creative briefs with Strategists for in-house team or with Project Managers for third party suppliers;
• Lead and assist all in-house creatives and suppliers to supervise and guide copywriters, artists, and designers for brainstorms, pitch formations, client work, and creative work. Mentor, encourage, and quality check the creative team to foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image, client brief, and company ideals.
• Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution;
• Work with Internals Lead, Project Managers, and Client Directors to innovate with most current industry best practices;
• Coordinate between the creative team and Project Managers, Strategists, Client Director;
• Produce any needed content for the assigned accounts, including working with the Internals Lead, Client Director, and Project Managers to manage the given budget for each project;
• Coordinate with the in-house creative team for briefs, work, scheduling, etc, and with Project Managers for creative work adjustments given client issues, production requirements, supplier availability, scheduling, etc. Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions;
• Work with Socials Lead to brainstorm, build, produce, and create content.

Requirements

• Has a Bachelor Degree with a major in communications, marketing, advertising, media, digital, public relations, or any related field
• Strong understanding of storytelling–visually and narratively
• Has 4+ year experience working with brands in terms of production, campaign-building, and/or social media
• Have an understanding of video editing; experience with audio, lighting, photography and video
• Have at least 3 years of experience in the same function
• Previous experience in digital marketing a plus
