Architectural Draftsperson (Residential) - Work from home - #88122

Responsibilities:

• Drafting: Produce accurate working drawings for Tender Preliminary Plans, Permit Plans, and Construction Plans. This includes Site Plans, Floor Plans, Elevations, Sections, Window and Door Schedules, Façade Details, Kitchen and Bathroom Details, Slab Plans, Electrical Plans, Landscape Plans, and other relevant documentation.
• Consultant Communication: Collaborate openly with external consultants, including council officers, private certifiers, engineers, surveyors, arborists, and others, to ensure timely processing of tasks.
• Building Approval: Attend to all necessary processes and procedures required to obtain full building approval for each home. This includes providing additional drawings to authorities, assisting stakeholders with submitted applications, and producing required reports.
• Plan Review: Assist in checking plans, evaluating and processing conditions of approval, and addressing any issues that may arise during the approval process.
• 3D Walkthrough: Support the Customer Experience team in creating and navigating 3D walkthroughs to enhance the customer experience.
• Additional Duties: Attend to any other duties that may be reasonably required within your capacity from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Adept at 3D walkthroughs.
• Knowledge of Australian residential building codes and regulations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
