APAC Supply Chain BPA - #100926

The role provides financial management leadership to Alcon’s APAC W&D and Transportation organization. It creates value through business partnering and disciplined performance management, accurate business forecast (no surprises), and opportunities’ maximization. In addition, it ensures integrity and compliance of all financial information.

Major Accountabilities

• Finance business partner/key advisor to the W&D and Transportation organization (decision support).

• Drive forecasting, budgeting, Strat plan, project prioritization, and performance management processes.

• Fully understand the Regional Distribution business model, providing robust financial performance tracking and analysis, including underlying dynamics, key drivers, and high-cost elements.

• Proactively manage financial performance (risks and opportunities) to meet or exceed financial objectives.

• Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close process and communication (i.e., accruals, monitoring, etc.)

• Business support activities also include contracts approval, CAR, adequate financial controls, ensure MALs are followed, etc.

• Business support opportunities for improvement, synergy, costs savings.

• Drive financial compliance: AFCM / SOX across the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance and CPA, CMA or MBA is preferred.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in BPA and accounting background (prior experience in supply chain is a plus).

• Broader understanding of finance, project management, and supply chain

• Excellent analytical and communication skills (incl. ability to synthesize, simplify, and convey story/messages concisely).

• Ability to manage complexity and simplify/standardize outcomes.

• Proactivity, attention to detail and quality.
